Description
So I was at this lecture about Feminism in Namibia. The speaker there was called Mimi Mwiya who has been working for Sister Namibia organization. The lecture was really interesting, too bad I had to leave early to go to Popcult Helsinki meeting. Anyways, for the whole time in the lecture I was drawing notes about what Mimi talked about. These are my comic notes. I want to put them here because feminism is a really dear subject to me and really, the lecture was so interesting.
If you want to discuss things about feminism with me, feel free to leave me comments. I'll answer each and every one of them!
Also, you can read this comic in my comic diary blog too.
Btw. I have started to translate my comic diary entries, so if you don't understand finnish, there's a lot of comics translated in the translated comics tag. Just go and read them here.
Other feminist art I've made:
Actually all of my art is feministic, but these are the most clear ones.
Done with sakura micron markers and Photoshop CS5.

You know much of the sexism in the Bible was written by the translators, and is not in the original Greek and Hebrew texts. The same with the homophobic passages.
