Ivory Dragon

Oh my god, I've neglected this gallery to hell and back since school let out! Wow uh. Welp. As it turns out, I'm not dead! In fact, I've been pretty prolific on the art front lately, so expect a steady stream of deviations appearing here once more-- ... albeit somewhat backdated for a while.

BUT ANYWAY. This guy was the first of a five card series I did for Illustration III-- which was, for all intents and purposes, the capstone class of my minor. I did a lot of searching and concluded that I really loved the look of Magic cards more than any other fantasy card game out there, so that was what I based my aesthetic off of-- and 'border breaking' was sort of my gimmick for the set. Because really, what's more fun than leaning on the fourth wall?
