I've been reading Dune by George Hebert. There is a scene in the film between Paul and his father, The Duke, that didn't occur, (one of many) in the first novel: Leto Atreides speaks to Paul outside on the balcony overlooking the rolling sea of Caladan, he says to his son, "Without change, something sleeps inside a man and seldom awakens...the sleeper must awaken." I accept this as truth.
My life...is stagnant.
