White Lilac Tsumami Kanzashi: handmade.

Aren't the little heart shaped buds cute? I do love the natural curve of this kind of lilac too-- so fun to imitate in flower sculpture/ hair ornaments.

I made these for a very creative young lady. I really love making these more natural flowers and using my imagination to design something for them. Of course there's no pattern any one would use, so it's fun to think one up.

Anyone own real lilacs? :) I had the pleasure of drinking lavender-flavored ramune once. :giggle:

The white ones in comparison look so delicate! It's like they're made of glass...I really like the resulting feel. is this a particularly small flower for you, or so-so?

 oh, the individual petals are quite small...especially the white ones toward the tip. But altogether, mmm...nah, it's not particularly a small design.

Glass! Hmm, it sort of reminds me of the man who sells stars.  :powerstar:

These are so cute. I don't think I'v ever seen lilac themed kanzashi pieces before. It's a really nice design.

I don't think it'd have occurred to me to do a lilac one without my friend. ^_^ I'd probably have thought of lavender, to be honest, but I like the result. I'm glad you like it~

ooo, I've never seen a lavender type kanzashi before... I hope you make one someday! I'd love to see your interpretation of it into the kanzashi technqiue.
