This is my "Morning Star," which I've been making from one kimono fabric bolt I've started to run out of... Originally designed for my friend's graduation:  Tsumami Kanzashi. Pink Morning Star Flower Modeled by hanatsukuri  . Hers has a subtle play on patterns; her bit of the kimono had a crane on it, which is said to be a long lived bird. :huggle: I remake this one when I can, but there's not any crane patterns left on the kimono fabric bolt. ^^ I have enough for 2 more: Etsy Social Smiley  www.etsy.com/listing/119438850…  Etsy Icon ultramini

And~ the bunny.  Bunny and Sakura Cherry Blossoms: spring at last. by hanatsukuri I've made more bunnies, of course, but this one has an all silk face and body, and has little beads for a nose and eye. :floating: Bunny Emoji-68 (Bouncy) [V4]  sooooo cute....... Bunny Emoji-72 (Kawaii) [V4]  I love making bunnies. Etsy listing: Etsy Icon www.etsy.com/listing/481923832…;Etsy  This one is made with habutae silk, which is the traditional silk for making tsumami zaiku.

In case you're not familiar with the art, tsumami zaiku is a Japanese technique where you have dozens, if not hundreds, of silk squares. Unlike origami, which uses one square per textile art, tsumami zaiku uses all of those squares, folded one at a time and set with glue into a variety of colorful and emotive shapes. I have made hundreds of flowers, and a fair few creatures. Panda Emoji-10 (Blush) [V1]

.:aww lover:. Feel free to chat if you're curious about the art. Fox emoji - blush

Both the colour and the design of this flower are lovely! It reminds me of the hibiscus on Yuna's obi from Final Fantasy X!
