I really like how a typically-thought-to-be western flower looks, using this traditional Japanese technique. It looks similar to fuji (wisteria), but it's different because the little four-petaled flower bunches instead of dangling drops of petals....

...both are very cute in the hair. :nod: I think I may like this photo better-- interesting pose.

So! I made these hair-ornaments out of silk. The purples are hand-dyed satiny charmeuse, and the white is delicate, crisp habutae. The little stamens are cute, hm?  See the kanzashi by themselves here: fav.me/d8nq6t5
