It was a normal day at the sea.
A certain red-headed mermaid was laying loosely on the rock, just finishing the last verse of her song.
"Part of your world~! …I wish I had human feet, just imagine! The thought of having feet is-" Ariel's conversation with herself was rudely interrupted when a splash suddenly drenched the poor little mermaid. Then a raven bob of hair popped out of the water in a heartbeat, and the next thing Ariel knew the human boy was leaning dangerously close.
"CAN WE TRADE? I'LL DO ANYTHING." the raven-haired human demanded loudly, startling the mermaid.
"What are you talking about? You mean being a mermaid…?" Ariel questioned, raising an eyebrow. The boy nodded eagerly. Ariel thought about it for a moment before an idea popped in her mind. "Hey! That can actually work! I can ask the sea witch for a potion and we can trade places, deal? AND NO TURNING BACK EITHER." But before the boy could even respond, a human girl with (h/c) hair from out of nowhere grabbed the raven boy, giving the mermaid a semi-glare before turning her attention to the boy.
"HARU! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING? WHY ARE YOU RISKING YOUR LIFE?" the human, named ____
said screamed in his ear but had no effect on the boy, who has the name of Haru. He sighed and said, "DON'T YOU SEE I DON'T ALWAYS HAVE TO STAY IN THAT DANG BATHTUB. THE OCEAN IS A LOT BIGGER, NOW MOVE OUT OF THE WAY WOMAN." he jabbed a finger on ____'s chest causing her face to get red in anger.
"DON'T YOU SASS ME YOU WATER LOVING IDIOT I'M TRYING TO SAVE YOU HERE."
Ariel just sweat-dropped during this weird argument the two were having. Maybe being a human wasn't so fun. Maybe it's better if she were just to be a mermaid…
"Umm, I guess I'll just be leaving---"
"NO PLEASE STAY I WANT TO BE WITH THE WATER." Haru begged, being helplessly dragged away by the ____. ____ gave Ariel a sweet look. "I'm so sorry about Haru! He is just beyond weird. As you see he is boy who loves water." she sweat-dropped. Haru finally loosen out of her snake like grip and swam to the mermaid. But before he can ask her one more time, she jumped back into the ocean, leaving the boy upset, angry, and speechless at once. He turned to ____, gave her the scariest glare he can muster. If looks can kill, he could have made her turn into ashes.
"It's your fault now since I CAN'T BE IN THE OCEAN." the girl laughed nervously and patted Haru on the back.
"Someday Haru. Someday."
