Not too bad, nice lighting effects, I like the body design being more wolf than human. Though you should avoid using a real photo of the moon as its detail greatly exceeds the rest of the picture. But over all its great.
Thanks a lot! I try to avoid using photo backgrounds for this reason (And copyright issues), but this was something I did quickly late at night - I had no idea it be one of the more popular pictures in my gallery!
I find you can only guess at what will be popular, because every once in a while something like this comes along and alerts you, that not everything popular is complex.
It is frustrating that there are pieces I spent days on that are practically ignored, whereas my most popular picture by far took me 2 hours. Oh well. It's not all about the faves.
I can tell you 4 reasons for this if that will help you understand.
1- the styling is quite good, superior to some of your other works.
2- strong lighting effects, far stronger than any of your other works by far.
3- darker in tint so your thick black lines don't show up as much. (You'd do better to just eliminate your lines, I find they handicap the lighting effects.)
4-black or white wolves are more popular than grey or brown. But blood red wolves are the most popular by far.

I am actually going to try out a lineless style again, my painting's getting to the point it doesn't need them any more. I do like outlines though...

Well I'm sure you'll figure it out as you go.
And yes, blood red wolves, specifically if they stand out starkly from a dark background. Stark things catch peoples eye, which is why this picture grabs so much attention, it's got bright white among otherwise shadow colours

Entry level tablets aren't too expensive and do the job fine - all the other pictures in my gallery were created with a Wacom Bamboo. If you really want one you should treat yourself.

I'm pleased to inform you that after all my moping about not having a tablet, I finally summoned the courage to purchase one online. I bought a Wacom Bamboo Manga, and it's still in the process of being delivered to my house. So expect lots of drawings from me!

Ha! I was trying to make it look like he was tearing his clothes off but he seems to be casually removing his shirt whilst transforming.
