**Final Update: I've gone back to all of the previous pages and cleaned them up, literary-wise. Hopefully now the exposition can come naturally to anyone newly reading. Take a reread if you like, it might make you feel different.
*UPDATE: I've completely cleaned up the Prologue and Chapter 1. Chapter 2 is a bit longer so I don't know if I'll get to it tonight. It's like... almost 1:30AM right now? And I have glove box time tomorrow morning soooo idk if I'll get to it tonight lol we'll see x
Hey all, quick message about CTOW
You may be noticing that I'm updating the comic pages that almost look the same as the original. Well I was reading aloud the pages to a colleague of mine who greatly enjoyed the story and I realized it'd be better if it wasn't so text-heavy. I've grown fondly of the idea of, a comic being able to tell its story through the visuals and not JUST the words.
That being said, you might be noticing the comic pages being updated with different text. The text is NOT being changed to alter the story in any way, shape or form. The story is the exact same so far. I'm only summarizing and cleaning up awkward run-ons or explanations, as well as helping to extrapolate on the characters' manners of speaking. I'm also making the lines shorter, so as to not need a magnifying glass when reading the comic x'D
While I did say I probably would never work on this comic again, after reading it to my friend for fun, I admit I grew fond of it again. That's not to say I'll devote my life to it again any time soon (since my PhD work is my life at the moment), but I do still have a soft spot for it. It still has a lot of potential to be something great, at least to me, and maybe here or there I'll sketch up something (if my damn tablet would ever work one of these days.. I might need to save up for a better one..)
That's about it for the updates. As for me personally, I've been working 12hr days for my research so that's always nice x'D I'm still alive and well tho.
Thanks for listening
