When i look at these I visit other worlds. Mechanical, bulbous and network shapes create what look like colossal machine palaces or alien carvings. I don't look at abstract art often, and I am not knowledgeable about fractals, but these are very artistic. If advanced life existed on other planets, perhaps this is what their museums would look like.

Thanks. I think it's interesting that you mention abstract, because I try to make my fractal work make sense in a way that is less abstract. Not always but that is my normal goal. Much of the older Apophysis work is more abstract however~

thank you for showing me the way around Mandelbulb 3D!! A truly great tool for animation and matte painting ... albeit a bit un-intuitive and sometimes unpredictable. It's a shame I'll probably never be able to look at ALL your work
