Mandelbulb 3D Tutorial
Update: The parameters used in this tutorial are no longer included in newer versions of MD3D, so the parameters are below, and here is how you paste them into the program. Just copy the text below to your clipboard, select the open tab at the top left of the main MB3D window, then click on the icon that looks like a folder with txt under it. That will paste the parameters you copy into the program. Then click the calculate 3d button to see the image:

Actually, all those things are still there. I wish I had the time to update some of those old tuts. Many of the things have been moved around, and some are now under tabs, but I assure you, everything is still there. Zmid etc is under the position tab, top right of main window. The FOVy is in that navigator window. Expand the window by clicking the down pointing triangle located at the bottom right of the navi window. FOVy is bottom left~ see, still there.

Hello Sir,
You are the most approachable representative of fractal art, so I'm going to ask you. Just installed Mandelbulb 3d on a new PC build, but sometimes when I attempt to render an image, I start getting errors about creating threads and memory--and this keeps occurring, filling up the screen with errors. Any advice? I just hope it isn't my PC.

Thank you for the quick response. I know this isn't your job, but I sure appreciate it.
System specs:
I9 9940X 14cores/28threads
DDR4 64GB Ram 3200
RTX 2080Ti 11GB Ram
Win 10 Home (bleh)
Running SDD and HDD secondary, put User files on D: so that gets used more
Mandelbulb3Dv199 is installed in downloads folder on D:
Strangely, I don't seem to see all of the formulas that should appear when I click on the buttons below the formula1/2/3/4 tabs. Under 3Da I only see Amazing Box. Under 4D I see Quaternion. Under several others I see nothing.

Okay, I fixed part (I don't know yet, maybe all) of the issue. Rookie error. Sorry for bothering you with it. I made the classic error of unzipping the folder inside of a folder inside of the folder it should've been in--I moved everything to top tier folder and restored access to all of the formulas. Maybe it fixed the odd error as well.
While I'm here--if I use 4 random formulas in the program, how do I give credit to the appropriate people? Where is that information? Do I need to hunt down the files for each one? Or does it only matter if I dig into the files, modify someone's formula, and then that's when I give them credit for giving me the starting point?
