HayleyWolf:
Shine and Kryptonite obviously weren't so happy to be here. Rayma and Kate had decided to bring the two fawnlings along for the costume contest. Well, the first round at least. The girls has decided to give it a creepy theme for this round, especially since Shine and Kryptonite already looked so pissed anyways. They were a little scary! Rayma was happiest with Shine’s costume. The lilac doe had been dressed as a zombie. Clumps of flesh seemed to hang off of her, some artificial fur used that matched her coat color perfectly. Bone seemed to poke through, pus and blood seeming to drip from the infected wound. The hair of her mane and tail appeared clumpy and ragged. She was glaring at Tip toe, Kryptonite, and Tanatos, daring them to say something.
Kryptonite looked pretty spooky as well. The pale lilac stag had been dressed up as a ghostly demon. The thin fabric draped across him was slightly transparent. Beneath he seemed to be adorned with sharp horns and spikes. They looked to be covered in blood. The stag’s rack was covered with blood as well, along with what seemed to be scraps of someone’s flesh hanging from them. When he moved the fleshy bits swayed in the wind.
Halloweendonkey:
Lumpkin was proudly standing near Tip toe who was watching around quietly, hidden under his costume of dragon. All around his head a large helmet full of bloody teeth and spikes was prolonged by a line of spikes all along the neck and back, the legs covered by leather sheets representing scales, and some large claws figuring the paws on the hooves. He was really impressing with his large wings shivering at each movement! He looked ready to jump on everyone, his brown eyes shining under the leather mask, and his dark color showing under the costume. He wasn’t impressed at all by Kryptonite and Shine, he was rather used to see her always pissed anyway.
At their side Pistache was standing with Tanatos. The stag was quiet, making a weird rattle sounds at each movement. His soft purple eyes on his handler he was waiting orders, totally unaware of his grand mother tantrum. Maybe he was used too ! His custom was in accordance with his coat: a white and creepy skeleton tied to his articulations with invisible rope. Each time he moved the bones rubbed against each other in a horrible sound, making the fawnlings move their long ears. A large mask like a skull on the face, a rib cage around the flanks, the white bones were standing against his dark coat.
HayleyWolf:
“Your costumes are great!” Rayma piped up as she took Shine by the halter, which had been designed to look like fleshy bits hanging off her face. It was time for them to begin their show! Shine seemed to relax more now, arching her neck and showing off as Rayma led her forwards. The lilac doe walked with an odd stride. It was like she was purposefully hitching it, to make herself look like the zombie she was pretending to be. Rayma had taught her well! Shine tossed her head, snorting at Tip toe, Tanatos, and Kryptonite could never beat that, right!? She doubted it. The egotistical doe refused to be beaten!
It was Kryptonite's turn to go into the ring now. Tip toe and Tanatos would follow. Kryptonite moved with grace as as Kate led him into the ring. His movements seemed effortless and it looked as if he were floating across the arena, much like the phantom he was intended to be. Kate kept perfect pace with him as they followed Shine around the arena, glancing back at Tanatos and Tip toenow. What sort of performance would they put on? The competition was fierce, but the handlers from Nite Owl Stables were just for fun. Kryptonite didn't seem so competitive either...but Shine. Well, Shine was Shine.
Halloweendonkey:
Lumpkin thanked Rayma, her smile looking a little more wide on her pumpkin face. Yes, she was proud of their costumes! Tip toe entered the arena, prancing proudly. His steps were bouncy, the long wings flapping on his side, as if he was ready to jump and fly. Lumpkin pressed a button on the mask, and some smoke started to go out of the nostrils and light flashing from the nose and the eyes. It was impressive! The stag was snorting, jumping on the sides, making with calm and an obvious amusement the choreography teached by Lumpkin.
Tanatos wasn’t in rest. The bones on the legs were in foam, to avoid any injury as the stag was unable to tell if he was ready to hurt himself or not, but the full upper body skeleton moved and rattled terribly, as if a full bag of bones was shaken on the stage. Raising the legs really high in perfect espagnol spets he showed all his capacities, listening his little handler who showed him what to do by some movement of the hand on the bridle hidden under the skull. The four fawnlings were really impressive, all showing their horrible and yet incredible costumes to the crowd. The handlers could be proud ! Shine, Tanatos, Tip toe and Kryptonite made a turn of the place before stand under the eyes of the judges, quiet and confidents.
HayleyWolf:
Shine didn’t appreciate the challenge that Tip Toe presented. The slender, wiry stag wore quite the impressive costume! Those wings looked so real, fake smoke also rolling from his nostrils. It was impressive and the lilac doe hated to think that. She was highly competitive and, for some reason, she’d never been so fond of Tip Toe. She honestly would rather Kryptonite or Tanatos win than him! She’d choose one of them over the wiry stag any day. Kryptonite didn’t seem to care too much. He was honestly only here because the girls wanted him to be, and he didn’t want to let Kate and Rayma down. So, he would try his best!
The four fawnlings circled the arena, trying their best to impress the judges in their own unique fashion. Shine’s movements became even more rigid as she got into character. She was determined to put on the most interesting show of all! It was hard to get her gait right, but she felt like she was pulling it off. Rayma seemed impressed with how she was doing. Kryptonite was having no issue with making him steps light, long, and floaty. He was a very graceful stag to begin with, so he made the impersonation of a phantom look effortless. Now the fawnlings all stood before the judges, having made their last rounds. Shine lowered her head, looking at the judges as if she were lifeless. Kryptonite’s costume fluttered in the breeze. Everyone was silent, holding their breath as they waited.
Halloweendonkey:
Tip toe rolled the eyes at the lilac doe show, but he had to admit it was accurate. Himself tried to make move his costume at each movement, waving his long tail hidden under a long dragon scaled tail. He wasn’t in rest! He tried his best as well, more interested to mess with Shine than really win. Lumpkin may felt it but as long as he did his best, she didn’t really cared. After all, only the result counted! If he needed some motivation to do his best, so she could ask Shine to be always in the corner! But the concurrence was hard! Shine and Kryptonite were perfect.
Praline didn’t really got such concern with Tanatos. The young stag wasn’t really focused anymore, more curious of the surroundings than the show. The pumpkins between the trees, the horrible ghosts and skeletons hanging to the branches… All but the mental battle the two fawnlings were making at his side was more interesting. It was soon time for them to leave the place and let the next participants make theirs. Tip toe couldn’t help but continue the show until disappear under the trees, followed by Kryptonite and Tip toe.
And Shine? She stood a little behind, to show herself as much as possible.
Eh. She lost nothing to try, right?
HayleyWolf:
Shine knew that she was doing well and the lilac doe had no qualms with flaunting it. Tail flagging out as she continued forwards, she added a little more hitch to her step and made a low, guttural sound. It made Rayma laugh loudly, unintentionally, and clasp a hand over her mouth. Apparently the doe had learned more from the zombie displays than she had realized. She was even trying to groan like one! What a ham; she just couldn't bear to lose. Kryptonite didn't seem so invested in this show, but he was still doing a very good job of looking like a creepy ghost as he floated around the arena with Kate. He didn't really care if he won. He was here to make his girls happy and that was all that mattered. But, Shine? She'd die before she let another fawnling win- especially her grandson and that other creepy stag!
Halloweendonkey:
The pumpkin headed girl watched the doe continue her show no matter what, groaning, limping, terrifing, and wondered how Tip toe would react to such direct attack. The stag didn't waited ong before snort and push a long, loud and powerful cry, making his flanks shiver under the force of the breath needed, the whole costume trembling, taking life on his back. Even Tanatos turned the head, opening wie the eyes, surprised. Pistache raised an eyebrow, a little amused by the spirit of competition some fawnlings could have, and some other no, petting the neck of her stripped boy.
Shine liked to win, but Tip toe liked mess with hot headed fawnlings. She wanted win? Alright, he would want win more than her!
