You know for someone who supposeably doens't care Hero is doing a lot to keep Damsel safe. Also the Caveman really should know his home turf better.

Spikes and cavemen.  I find it funny how the cavemen run right into spikes.  I remember experimenting with Spelunky. (or was it that Crowded Spelunky mod of yours?  I can't remember) I walked to the side of some spikes in a 1 block high passage, was surprised I wasn't killed.  I "jumped" in the 1 block high hall and of course died even though it wasn't really a jump with the 1 block high passage and all.

Those spike are a real danger sometimes I found, they are the primary reason I look before I leap save for an incident on the 5th floor involving a spear trap and now I'm going way off topic.

Cool comic series so far.

Heh, it must've been Crowded Spelunky for that to happen.  Spikes don't normally spawn in one-tile passages.  Their collision detection is strictly based on the player's momentum, and even in a passage with no vertical space, pressing jump gives you enough velocity to die on them.  That's a very circumstantial bug!

So that's how that works.
