2001 A Smartphone Odyssey by Hal Hefner

Have you ever been in a restaurant and have seen a couple on their phones not even talking to each other? Have you ever had someone walk into you on the street not paying attention to each other? Have you ever been in a public place and annoying person is yapping on the phone loudly oblivious of the world and people around them? Have you see the world around you so obsessed with their own cell phones, their own world, their own selfies, pics of their food and Facebook likes that it makes you wonder if the phone is really our master instead of the other way around? That's what this is about. A little satire and pop culture, from Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke's 2001 a space odyssey.
