What are Community Projects?
Community Projects are part of the life of deviantART. Each year deviants come together from across the globe to collaborate on projects, the goals of which range from raising awareness, fundraising for charity, providing team-building or skill-building activities and more!
In my role as Community Projects volunteer, I am here primarily to help facilitiate various ongoing projects on deviantART. My role is to support you, the deviant, not just by running projects of my own but by supporting your projects.
So if you have a project you'd like to start, send me a note! If you're looking for a project to participate in, just click "Community Projects" over in the sidebar to the left, that's where we list all ongoing Community Projects.
Change in Volunteers
Between the last CR update and now, we bid farewell to WDWParksGal as her term as a volunteer came to a close. If you haven't done so yet, please thank her for her hard work and dedication to the team and to Community Projects on dA.
Projects Introduction and Goals
At the beginning of the month, I posted the Community Projects Introduction which aimed to outline our plans for the Community Projects gallery in 2012 and beyond. If you haven't read it yet, you should! It's got a lot of good information on how Community Projects will change (and has changed) this year.
Proposed Category Changes
Earlier this month I posted an article entitled Proposed Projects Category Changes detailing my thoughts on streamlining and simplifying the Projects categories. If you haven't done so yet, please read and leave your thoughts on that article!
Daily Deviations
I apologize for not getting DD guidelines posted yet. I promise I'll get these done soon!
Just to quickly clarify some things. I am currently only featuring from the Community Projects category. In addition, I will not normally feature from ongoing projects, such as the Valentine Exchange. That being said, I gladly accept DD suggestions from ongoing projects and will archive them for consideration when the project is complete.

Coming Soon
I'm currently working with a couple of rockstar deviants on some articles that will be published soon, I swear! As a teaser, these include details on how to run an awesome project on dA, how to support the projects of your fellow deviants, and how to go about getting support from Community Relations on your ongoing or planned projects.
