This remake had high production values and follows the original story faithfully. Spanky is a POV character.
Where this remake falls short is the time devoted to Star's stripping. The video is 13:41 in total and Star is not shown behind the curtain with the pole until about the 12:41 mark. Her dress comes off at the 13:01 mark. So it's about a minute for the payoff. It's not very balanced.
