Been itching to do more landscapes lately. Used a reference picture for this one. Ref is from a photo I took at Lassen National Park a couple years ago: [link]

You should be able to easily see textures on the wings. They shouldn't be completely black. One of these days I have to do something lighter so I won't have to worry about monitor brightness issues, heh.

As usual, done completely in Photoshop from start to finish. This took about 10.5 hours, on and off. Been working on it during breaks between commissions.

Awesome!
Amazing!
Not only is the landscape breathakingly beautiful and awe inspiring, though, but, the creatures look more original than most would have them to be, too, though.
Therefore, then.
I Loves It! :D <3 :)

You paint fantastic landscapes!
And you've added the subjects in such a way that it doesn't take away from the landscape and so they aren't completely ignored either. Possibly because of how you've done the composition of the piece.

Really neat creatures there, interesting set of wings.

And the stormy atmosphere is a perfect environment. <3

Your art is very beautiful to look at, with an edge of mystery to each one. I love the emotions that are invoked when I look at each different deviation. And dragons! AHh, You've won me over with that one. Dragons/dragon-esque beasts, I love them.

I'm definitely going to watch you. Keep up the amazing art. <3
