She's waiting for hubby to come home, heehee. Um...Not much else to say about this one.

Sorry, I tend to come up with really dumb titles.

All parts of this were sketched and colored completely on Photoshop. No references used. And I have no idea how long this one took. I did it a little bit at a time over the course of a few weeks.

The embroidery and jeweling on the costume is marvelous.

Brilliant! Excellent job on the clothing and there's something about the tilt of the head that gives it great attitude!

I love the title of this pic and the woman kind of reminds me of Cinderella for some reason.. must be the clothes she's wearing and the blonde hair. It's like "Cinderella's Revenge", lol. :)

What a dramatic scene! Even though there isn't much of a title, the mood and all the things that come to mind from this piece set up its context quite well. I like the ambiguity of the motive here; is the subject malicious or benign? The idea that it's a woman who cannot tolerate anymmore of something also comes to mind. What talent! I am also a fan of your Airship Pilot.

This is awesome!
I see nothing particulart wrong in the face anatomy, although the face has a bit less detail than the hair and dress.

Impressed! ^3^
lonewolfMJ Featured By Owner May 21, 2004
You could call it "In Waiting" possibly. Or "Two Edged Wait"

Just and Idea.
She is very beautiful. I love the dark shades.

I like the frilly pattern on the sleeves and how the light shines on the face. Quite interesting. :-)

Whoa! Nice detailing! I almost thought it was a photo! This reminds me of the Greek story by Homer, when Agamemnon came home and his wife was waiting so she could kill him. That's wicked cool!

Very beautiful, i'm very impressed by the details and the colors...
Why does she have a blade? Does she plan to kill her husband? :)

lestismitethee Featured By Owner May 9, 2004
there's something i love about this. i guess it's b/c she has such a noble look, with the light bounding from her face... but behind her is a certain deception. great detail on the blothes, too. dunno, but this piece is greatly appealing in how it looks. great job - Gally

As much as I love this picture for its deviousness (it looks so nice and relaxed until you see the dagger heheheh), I guess this isn't something to be showing the significant other right away. heh.

And that it's amongst my favorites. uhohhh....

Oooooh... lovely details. And I just finished reading a book in an AU of 16th Century Venice. This could almost be an illustration for it. Such a cool coincidence! :D :D :D

i'll just get in line with all of the "holy moo cow!" and "yowza!" comments by saying good sweet mother of all things big n small! the detailing in her outfit is definately kickass, and the way itshines on the left side shows off it's gold metalic texture well ^_^ tho the hand holding the dagger could probably use a bit more detail when compared to the dagger itsel'f. ...but still yowza...
hakubaikou Featured By Owner Mar 20, 2004
Thanks! :)

The hand was the last thing I did. I think I was getting impatient to finish the damn thing. The thumb may be a bit weird too, now that I've looked at it some more.

wow, nice drawing!
sweetcha Featured By Owner Mar 18, 2004
Wow. This pose must've been tough to do. Her face looks a little bit off to me -- something about the nose and her eye look odd. Perhaps it's just the angle of her face. It's still really impressive, though, considering you did this without a reference.

The detailings on her dress and the dagger are gorgeous. Your Photoshop work is always wonderful. :D
hakubaikou Featured By Owner Mar 18, 2004
No, it's not the angle. I think her face really is a little off. Heehee. Thanks though. :)
sweetcha Featured By Owner Mar 18, 2004
