I've decided to scrap all the plots and names for "Sugar Addiction," which I've been working on for two years. Creating "Mafia Sitter" significantly improved my scriptwriting skills, and I couldn't ignore the low quality of the "Sugar Addiction" manuscript. Even if I finished coloring these, I lost confidence in them as a masterpiece. "I don't quite understand," "It doesn't feel right," "There's too much fluff"... I always had these vague feelings when working on "Sugar Addiction." Although the editors said it was "interesting," I couldn't explain the core of this story well and felt that it would be better to redraw everything. I'll rethink everything: the title, theme, plot, characters, and ending. I plan to return to the theme I really wanted to pursue from the beginning. I'm currently restructuring the script, and I think it will be much more compact, with fewer than 100 pages instead of the initial 200. I used to think that more pages and more scenes would make a better story

I received the thumbnail booklet for "Sugar Addiction" that I printed for pitching to publishers...! It's incredibly thick and heavy, much more than I expected...! It's printed in B5 size, but the actual magazine will be trimmed on the sides and become a vertical booklet. It might end up being more difficult to hold than I anticipated... Looking at the draft pages with backgrounds that I drew during the trip, they look surprisingly good even though they're just drafts. If I could draw all pages at this level, it could turn out to be very impressive. Nonetheless, once it's in booklet form, I realize the importance of "empty" spaces and pacing... It might have been the right decision to make it into a booklet.
