It's how you look at things :)

Edit: Thanks to :iconka-te:'s advice, the lens flares have been effectively used to make the image better :D

k. i have elements 4.0, which has almost all the tools i'll ever need for what i do. i would prefer a full version, but whatev.

you know i'm talking about the green one towards the bottom, right? the top is perfect as is.

yea, i figured that...there was a red one that i was able to get rid of, but the green one is really adamant...i could try again though.

i had a theory, tried it, and it worked pretty well.

use the circular marquee feathered to 50 pixels to select the flare and a bit of the area around. then go into adjust, hue and saturation, set it to green and desat all the way (or close if you don't want to) then set it to yellow and desat a bunch (but not as much as the green) and then up the saturation of red until the green is gone. it'll look a lot grayer than the rest of the sidewalk.

the important one is the next step. use the eye dropper tool to select a color from the adjacent bits of sidewalk, set your brush tool on color mode at about 35% opacity, and sweep over the area one or 2 times. or just keep going til it blends in with the area around what you desaturated.

then you can deselect and use the brush again with a lower opacity to blend in what you did and it'll be gone. :D

where was the red one?
