I had some spare time, so I decided to write this tutorial which tries to teach the basic techniques I used to make fractals like [link] , [link] or [link] .

could you explain me one more thing? I dont know if you have more tutorials but:
about the gradients, i see some flames that use a gradient but they get more colors out of it then when i use the same one.
for example one has orange and red, while i only get orange...
so i wounderd if you know more about this..?

Try playing with the "transform color" and "simmetry" settings in the "Colors" tab.

In the transform editor just click the white paper icon at the top (the leftmost one)
