Diana Goes To School (Chapter 2)
The next week, on the first day of school, Diana walked into Spencer Grove High with a nervous feeling. She looked around the hallway where all the students were, but almost none of them looked back; a few glanced at her. As she walked down the hall, though, Diana noticed her childhood friend, and she noticed her.
“Jenni Anderson?”
“Diana Lombard?”
The two girls exclaimed in excitement hugged each other.
Then Diana said, “I didn’t know you were going to this school, Jen!”
“Yeah, well, my dad, like, wanted me to go to this school,” Jenni retorted at first, “because he WANTED me to, like, have the best grades. But at least now I’ll totally be spending time with a childhood friend!”
