Discovery 14

As the Captain lowers their shields to beam over, one of the other captains seizes that moment to beam Arrana away. Arrana is confused as she arrives on the other ship. The captain explains that containment fields around the transporter pad will cancel out whatever influence she exerting over the captain and crew.
When Arrana asks why she is doing this, the captain claims that it has to be her influence that a captain would willing disobey orders.
Much to the captain's surprise, Arrana isn't angry, rather she looks at her sadly.
Arrana explains that she used to be like her, so dedicated to her job that she blindly followed orders without thinking about the actual people involved. It wasn't until her daughter was born that she realized how she would be expected to treat her just because of how she looked.
When asked what she means Arrana simply tells her that she will humor her and remain where she is, but warns her to leave her daughter alone or suffer the consequences.
