Part of the problem of not being a true artist is that when I get a great idea for a picture I have to find an artist to draw it. So here's an open call to anyone that wants to take up the challenge. Been a while since I've done one of these, and this last week has been full of life changes.I took my final final last week. It's been 2 years since I was laid off (after 14 years of working for the same company) and I decided to go back to school. I graduate on May 16th with honors (I maintained 3.77 average for the last two years.) The bad thing about all this? There are few jobs in the career field I've been studying (computer network technology) due to the economy.After i got laid off, I got a job at our local library as a part time shelver. Hi all,After hearing about how good Photoshop Essentials is (hereafter referred to as PSE), I've downloaded a trial version of it and am playing with it now. It does some basic stuff very different from paint.net (the program I've used for everything in my gallery so far) and I feel like I'm learning to walk all over again. Fun, but frustrating as I can't get a good handle on it yet. I do have a great teacher whose helping me out (hi Aya! :)) so that's encouraging. I just don't have the time to devote to it like I need to. I might not be posting any new art soon... sniff!Dunno if I ever mentioned it before here, but I'm getting to graduate...
