Does AI makes art ?
Art is a personal or collective expression of human being(s).
Is personal expression possible with AI ?
The fact that the program is creating the picture, and not the human himself, prevents the human from having full control on the production. The choices that are made by the program are not entirely his, well not as much, and will never be as much – in the current form of human-machine interaction – as the power of the hand on a pencil, a brush, a computer mouse, applying each line and each color in full awareness, with less or more skill but always a direct action of the human body/brain.
