Most assumed that she was a demon or a devil.
Most fled from her as one might the plague...
while others, the wretched few took after her with a murderous gleam in their rage fueled eyes.
Understandably she did all that she could to avoid human contact.
She kept to the forests and glens.
Her fellow elementals, dryads, fairies, and nymphs were all understanding. They all carried the burden of mortal fear upon their backs, living in mortal dread of man's murderous ways...
