that splatter's so, so niffty. the effects you've applied give it a coppery feel, what witht he colour and texture. there's also something about the way it curls and furls that feels in key with the tight, pink spirals adorning his top and it's interesting to see how this chaotic, unorganized shape echoes that. of course, that also adds to the sense of continuty in the image which is supported by the deep, rusy colours of his clothing.
the cloths, with their skin tight translucancy, really do let you show off your knowladge of anatomy. the muscles all took incredibly accurate, though maybe the scapula's a tad too promident. one thing that's perticulary groovy is the way that the arm drawing the sword just slopes into the weapon. the rendering of his skin is disturbingly life lik, though if i were to be a real nit pick, you possibly couls have put a little bit more pressure on the thumb og the hand gripping the sheath. the fingers seem to be tightly locked around it, howebver, that kinda works to contradict that.
the flow of the material covering his legs is pretty bitching. the folds just seem to drag across it, giving a sense of movvment wich reflacts the flow of his hair.
