Hey guys, if you are debating evacuating North/South Carolina's coast... or if you are waiting for a sign on whether you should go... CONSIDER THIS MESSAGE TO BE THE SIGN THAT FINALLY GETS YOU TO GO.
Katrina killed 1,833 people, Maria killed around 3,000 people. Yes, 3,000 , and that place was built to withstand category 3 hurricanes. THE CAROLINA COAST IS NOT EVEN BUILT TO HANDLE CATEGORY TWO HURRICANES.
Please do not gamble with your life. EVEN IF it ends up fizzling out to just a tropical storm, it's better to be overly safe and short a few dollars than DEAD.
Folks are already going to be busy cleaning up whatever gets destroyed.... so how about we give them a few less bodies?
