I actually use a combination of by hand and with the lineart layer stuff. There is an option in the upper-right corner that says 'Stabilizer' that actually helps with making some lines be a bit more straighter too as you draw. Though I forgot, do you use a mouse with Sai or do you have like a cheap tablet+pen?
