So, I've had this idea floating around for a while. A weekly feature that highlights the photographs of people whose work I really like. The idea is to give some exposure where it is deserved. That said, I'm not going out of my way to find "undiscovered" artists, I am simply going to highlight submissions I think are of excellent quality. There may be 10 highlights, and there may be 25 in some, I'm not going for a specific number. I will be doing these on sundays in the future, even if today is tuesday, so there will be two features this week. If I had something I could give away, I would, but I don't, so I won't :P. Anyway, here are this weeks' highlights, and please do view them in full. Enjoy!

LotsOfLowe has beautifully captured the essence of each season in these shots. The full submission has links to the separate seasons' shots as well. Well worth a look, as well as the rest of her gallery.

deadlychris brought back James Dean in this beautiful portrait.

thesolitary's capture of this beautiful landscape has me in awe. It is an absolutely stunning image.

AhmetKir shows us that eating watermelons isn't always as easy as it seems.

vabserk's fantastic capture of this moment at dusk (or dawn?) is simply amazing. Beautiful.

DarkOceanDream's desert hijinks gave us this wonderful shot. Granted, she is the model, not the photographer. This, however, shows the great work from both.

fogke's beautiful portrait draws me in to some mysterious otherworldy plane of existence. I love the muted colors, and the expression tells me that it is a place I most likely would not enjoy. Stunning portrait.

Liebegaby's beautiful self-portrait shows us that great things can be done with just a little imagination.

Questavia's capture of our own galaxy's outer arm is simply fantastic. Given that I know how hard it is to capture images like this, it just makes it that much more impressive.

St-JR's absolutely stunning portrait show some excellent play of light and shadow.

MartinSar's ominous but beautiful shot shows what can be done with long exposures, and what a fantastic example it is.

Rubengda's shot has some really interesting play with light and shadows, and it goes so well with the lines and curves of his subject.

And that's it for this week. Please do check out the galleries of these artists, they are truly talented and deserve some recognition.
