Parry by Carlos Azevedo (MouseCon'24)

NOT MY ART!

Here's a second commission I got done at MouseCon! The convention was split in two areas. The main atrium had vendors selling Disney merchandise and pins, and the main guests such as animator Rick Farmiloe and some Disney voice actors. I wandered around the con, and found an area tucked away in the hotel with even more vendors. I'm glad I found that area with the extra vendors because it was easy to overlook, and the con felt small even for $12 admission. While looking around, I really liked the style of one cartoon artist Carlos Azevedo. He had a lot of artwork crossing over Marvel superheroes with Disney characters, and so I thought he'd be a good artist to commission another drawing of my superhero dog Parry. He did a very awesome job with Parry! I like seeing how different artists interpret a dog superhero, and Carlos made Parry pretty buff looking. I wonder if those are real muscles, or is Parry just wearing Hollywood muscle padding under his costume?

Check out more of Carlos' art on Instagram! You can even see a WIP sketch if this drawing he posted on there! https://www.instagram.com/mrtoon2000/
