Possibly one of the best results on digital painting I've achieved so far (yet, of course, I can't say how much of it is finished).

This is a colored version of a drawing from my latest sketchbook, finished recently. This is more a character inspired in Coyolxauhqui, a moon-related deity from the Ancient Mexica Cosmology (where she is the leader of the Centzonhuitznahua - four hundred southerners - and sister to Huitzilopochtli, the god of war and patron of Mexico. In an occasion, she and the Centzonhuitznahua attempted murdering their mother, Coatlicue the Earth Goddess, who just mysteriously got pregnant. Coatlicue was saved by her newborn son, a fully grown and fully armed adult, who slew his four hundred brothers and Coyolxauhqui) than a faithful interpretation of her. That said, this painting more likely depicts the homonym character in the CUETZPALIN Mythos - where she is a goddess from altepetl Coatepec, who have rebelled against the Aztec Confederation's wasteful campaigns in favor of the Frashokeretian Alliance during the Topakhon Wars (which lasted from the 1st to the 12th Century after the birth of the Centzonmimixcoa - 29th to 17th Centuries before Iesu).
