Hey there -- First journal update in a (long) while!

Been really busy lately! Among things, I've been working for the Transformers Legends mobile game (since 2012 now), providing hundreds of sketches used as base to produce the beautifully painted and animated game cards.

Starting today, June 25, I got the honour to be the first to start a special signature series, focusing on the artists behind the game!
Basically this event will be centered around 6 TF characters cards  chosen, pencilled, and inked too by yours truly!

I'll attend as guest the official 3 days event that will be held in Milan, Italy for the official launch of  the 3rd Transformers movie.
I'll be there on 6/24 with "how to draw Transformers" lessons

Yep, Japanese... Why? 'cause I'm working on my first japanese TF commission, a comic strip for that amazing series of books known as TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS 2009
published in japan by Million Publishing.
You can take a look at their page here: www.millionhero.jp/tfg2009/ind…

I'm a huge fan of japanese Transformers (especially the old G1 series) so this is a dream project that became true.
And I won't do only the lineart, but the colours as well!

Script for this short story is from TF-guru Simon Furman, who describe this new experience on his blog too: simonfurman.wordpress.com/
The comic will follow events set in the 2 previous TF Henkei installments... but with a Furman's twist ;)

Book is scheduled for August, 17.

...Look at the gallery for a sneak peek ;)
Will be out in store June 24th... and isn't anymore the last issue of AHM as planned, there will be 4 more (not by me though)!
BTW 5 pages preview are up at TFromers.com tformers.com/transformers-/118… and in my gallery ;)
