The wonderful poem "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carroll. I love the way he uses language.

This piece is an 18"x24" watercolor and ink piece made on 140lb. Strathmore watercolor paper. I had a lot of fun burning the edges, too.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEE! OMG! JABBERWOCKY! :heart: I adore you for doing this. Absolutely. Favorite "monster" ever. (Though, it's because of the movie by parts of the Monty Python crew with the same name, even though the Carroll story is quite lovely.)

This is amazing. :la: The lettering is extremely skillfully done and the detail in the title word is mind blowing. Then the effect on the edges just really makes the piece truly fantastic. Great job! :D :+fav:
