Since I've been rather ill this week, I opted for some more painting practice. As Warren has been my primary muse as of late, I felt like doing some portrait work with him in his full-human and full-foo-lion forms. (his halfway transformed image is here [link]
If you are wondering why he's wearing a yellow shirt with pink butterflies, well, he is rather fond of a certain flutter-shy pony from a girl's cartoon show. [blush] He's a bit of a craft enthusiast, as there is little clothing selection for guys his size, so he often paints and customizes his own shirts.
Despite being so pale, I tried to give him features that were not simply Caucasian. He lacks most skin, hair, and eye pigmentation as a side effect of being a non-human hybrid.
I based the nose and face shape of his foo-lion form on a clouded leopard, as they have the largest canine teeth of all extant feline species. I also love their unique nose shape!
In this image, he is visiting a den of debauchery held by the local contingent of succubi, trying to find information on what is conning young warlocks into summoning horrors from beyond our universe. Earlier that night, he has lost the fingers of his right hand trying to maul a wayward outsider's tendril. The succubus mocks him, chiding him as he appears to still have his hand. She expects that, as he is running with the alpha of a local wolf pack, he should be another werewolf. He replies with "Well, I am no wolf." Thanks to his inhuman recuperative prowess, his hand is nearly healed.
I'm still working bit, by, bit on the other projects on my list.
