Oh wow- as a fan of Giger, I am PLEASED. The depth and texture are really extraordinary, and there's a recogninable sense of not-Giger, which is rare in people who emulate his work. They tend to go all the way, or not at all. Great job integrating your own style into this, especially with the curving features of the shroud.
possibly my favorite part is how the surrounding ooze has the cast of oil- I'm not sure how you got that effect, but its really wonderful. When compared to the original, it's less ethereal and more grounded, warmer somehow- an interesting take!
