Group Mission Statement: The creation of Collaborative Fractal Art Images. Advancing the understanding of the Fractal as an art form, generation of positive views of Fractal Art, honing individual skills and confidence of members within, and without the group. Encouraging and assisting other Artists in the use of the Mandelbulb 3D program, revealing tips and insights, program specific information and understanding, and the production of Art Images.
Firstly, F.G.U. has as it's core a focus upon collaborative works of art, through various techniques. One of particular interest to our group is what we call a 'Parameter Party'. A Parameter Party involves the evolution of a fractal image, within a particular program, by members of a collaboration. The image is constructed in 'rounds' and receives it's unique characteristics from the influences of the many participants. There are a number of programs which could allow for such a collaborative effort, and any who are interested in giving such a try are encouraged to examine the 'Parameter Block Party Guide" posted in our journal. Art submitted to our Group will be required to provide the names of all collaborators in the creation of the work and is done to include in our public gallery, for critique by the community of F.G.U. and Deviant Art members. Within our group we will vote upon these works as a means of putting forth a 'featured artist / collaborators' gallery, and may have open 'submission for particular themes of interest, and possibly contests and competitions.
Secondly, We at Fractal group Unlimited, wish to encourage the community here at deviant Art, and at large, to view Fractal creation as an acceptable Art Form. to this end we will focus our attentions upon those works which have Fractal as their theme (including those works which make use of post-production techniques). We will encourage our members to submit images and works which go beyond those rendered by the programs, or make full use of production settings within the particular program. We would encourage others to consider the ways in which Fractals may become 'blended' or married with other forms of art, creating 'Fusions' of expression.
Thirdly, Fractal Group Unlimited wishes to help other artists and aspiring students by providing it's members with information which is vital, and timely, in regards to the use and function of the various programs available for fractal creation. To this end we will provide a community forum, where various topics will be discussed by our members, providing tips and tricks of the trade, for the benefit of other artists. In essence this will be an ongoing and perpetual 'tutorial' on subjects and programs. At times we may request of the members of the group, or community at large, for submission to the "Fractaler's Guide".
We will have other features of interest to many members, and the community. "Monthly Featured Artist", with a short interview; "Favorite Collaborators", highlighting their works and members; A "Parameter /Script vault", where our members may draw inspiration from, or make a contribution to; and many others in the works.
Membership is Limited (by Invitation). Interested parties are invited to visit and make a request for membership. Anyone who has collaborated in a work, that has the okay from all members, and their contact information will receive immediate consideration for membership in making a submission of the work. Membership is limited to the member making the submission, at that time, but may include others involved in the collaboration, upon request by the associates, individually. We would encourage ALL Artists who have collaborated, or intend to do so, please consider '#Fractal-Group-UNLTD' membership, for it's many advantages. Thank you.

OnlyFractalArt has folders for artistic graphics made in Apophysis, Mandelbulb, Ultra Fractal, FracTint, and others, one folder for each software application.

This group is for people who like to make fractals and flames with Programs like Apophysis, Ultra Fractal, Mandelbulb, ChaosPro, Photoshop, GIMP, or anything else capable of generating pretty fractals and flames. You'll only be accepted if you have uploaded a minimum of 2 fractals. Psychedelic or abstract art is welcome if it looks awesome enough. The compass rose pattern or any variant is most welcome too.

This group is dedicated to the Fractal Explorer program, not the PS plugin!

We accept only fractals made with Fractal Explorer so make sure you have several of those when you apply for membership.
We generally accept people that have some experience with FE and have works that define the FE personality.
All group-related issues and inquieries must be sent in notes to the group, not to the admins' personal accounts!!!!
Submission limit is 3 deviations per day.
Any work that does not have the program used stated in the artist's comments will be denied without explanation!!
Please submit to the right folder.
