Another work in progress, this is Tir-Esisanji, Priestess of a small chapel in that quiet corner of the Astral Plane- the First Heaven- that tends injured spirits. Tywilla, after being murdered during an "interrogation" by the Security Enforcers on her conquered planet in the Physical Plane, encountered her, and...

Oh, okay - Now I can picture her

Very pretty, Griz!
GriswaldTerrastone's avatar
Are you going to draw something with her?
Cajek's avatar
Actually, yes! Is that a good part for a trade Griz? I am not skilled enough to do justice to the scene you described for me, not yet... Two people reuniting in heaven is something that I would have trouble doing justice to

I'm looking forward to your version!

Wow, Tir-Esisanji sure is tall! And four arms too! I wonder how good she would be at basketball?

It always is neat seeing how much you can accomplish with such a limited array of colors though this time they look a little less limited, four instead of the usual three. Combining red and yellow for orange would definitely be a way to work around that self-imposed limitation. All the warm colors really work well together here, same with the browns, especially with the tree.

Well, with her ability to float, probably quite good! :D

The color pencils used here were silver-grey (a neutral), brown, red, and yellow. It is fun seeing what one can get out of such limitations!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

Loving the details and coloring so fiery. Its almost has a dark crystal feel to it.

I loved that movie!

She was Tywilla's benefactor, and the colors were all from brown, grey, red, and yellow pencils- just four! The orange came from combinations.

Thank you!

See that's what I like about your art work. you can take just four colored pencils and make masterpieces. =D

The tree itself has a very nice look to it, but the character herself is my favorite part of this drawing. She has a very good looking hairstyle for her character design, and I really like how you did her tail. I like the detail of her having multiple hands/arms, and good job with her ears and eyes =)

She looks very pretty. And look at all that detail.

Thank you!

The only pencils I used were the neutrals, red, and yellow- oranges were done by combining the two.
