About 25 yrs ago, I began selling refurbished and handmade dollhouse miniatures online in my Etsy shop Cauldron Craft Miniatures. Locally, I was selling handmade jewelry and organic botanical goods at festivals. The herbal stuff just took off, eventually overshadowing my mini making. Within a few years, I had a mixed bag of crafts and clientele. I changed my Etsy shop to Cauldron Craft Odditys but my main earnings were in-person sales. I was doing up to 2 festivals a week in Texas. These included metaphysical fairs, art galleries, horrorcons, tattoo events, farmers markets, open air thrifty markets, gothic boutiques, and film festivals, and finally, Day of the Dead and other city fests. It was a lot of work physically and artistically. I travelled with my dad, brother, & occasionally my husband. We had loads of fun! I especially loved getting to the coast. I had a great time vending at Monster-Con 2014 at the Wonderland Mall in San Antonio, TX!  This was my second Monster-Con and once again the costumes were great, lots of fabulous artists, so many awesome toy and collectible vendors... I definitely spent too much money.  I had a booth there with all my organic herbal goods, handcrafted jewelry, and Day of the Dead artwork.  There were numerous fantastic costumes but my favorite by far was the Predator.
