I like having the character dead-center, as it gives it a sense of power. The broken visor is a nice touch.
The pose lacks fluidity, but the message is imposing.
Your main lighting seems like it's coming from the top left, but it appears to get lost in certain spots, like the forearms, in particular.
The light coming from the sword is a very nice touch, but as it stands, it looks more like a nebulous glow floating in front of the character, as it doesn't seem to follow the shapes of the figure, or the attire. I'd recommend using a hard brush to blend in the colors, instead of using a soft brush, as it makes the picture look blurry and lose some of the impact.
Actually shit. This would have looked much better if i just used the sabre light as the main light source. BAH. STILL SO MUCH TO LEARN.
