This is a new snippet from my rather strange red-white-black comic project Where Red Apples Lie. This short story is 5 pages long, consider it as an excerpt from a larger story (which I've not published). I hope the layout should be clear, albeit the story is somewhat ... subtle (as are previous installments in the series). The story has a lot of double meanings and interpretations, will be interesting to hear what people make of it!

This whole page is just one shock after the other!! (The word "growwie" is just so cute, lol, though I thought it was stupid at first.)
I guess I'm prejudiced somehow because the girl offering the apple was a gesture that I wasn't expecting from her. I half feared she would grow tired of his chattering instead. And he was so enthusiastic!
I'm not sure how the suit or whatever responded, but it looks painful. Guess the anti-abduction suit works?
"Because mommy loves me very much" kind of raises a flag the way he inserts it there...then the last panel...I see now way to interpret mommy picking him up on Saturdays as a good thing...is the store his babysitter for days at a time?? Except he said mommy only sent him there when he needed to meet more people, so that can't be it...Still going with it not being a good thing though. Or at the very very least something weird and unfamiliar that I am not comfortable with! 
The boy says the voice is male, I had imagined it as a female voice. Habit, most voices used are female, lol.
