The Connie, in OBJ format.
The ship in in separate pieces, consisting of Primary, Secondary, and Dorsal hulls, Impulse Engines, and Warp
Pylons. Warp Engines consist of three parts each, The blades, the light globes, and the nacelle itself. Bay Doors are 4 parts
each. I did this for possible animation purposes.

The OBJ files load at the proper scale and position in Modo, Poser 7, and DAZ Studio. Some programs don't load OBJs at
the proper scale or position. Hopefully, none of you will have this problem, as there is nothing I can do, if you do. :(

GS,

OBJ format programs like X to be side to side, Z to be front and back, and Y to be verticle.

Modellers who export to obj from Rhino can switch Z and Y in the export dialog by selecting Y=UP.  There should be such an option in 3DSmacks a s well...

If nothing else, DAZ Studio being free and all, it gives you the option to switch Y and Z planes on both import and export for all formats it deals with.

Thanks for your great work.

need to add one more thing.

Importing these into DAZ Studio set the import scale to 5085.9% to get 1 unit = 1 Meter as per how Mattymanx has set up most of the rest of  the Trek Models out there.  Also, with the exception of six of the eight Shuttle Bay Doors, UVMapper shows no UVMapping on any of the parts... Eric, if you like, I can send you what I have done, since I always UVMap anything I D/L that doesn't already have mapping... or you could just add UVMapping with UVMapper www.uvmapper.com with the freeware version.

Hope you guys can UVmap her in order to get some use
out of her. I find my modeling skills have FAR outpaced
my UVing skills at this point. I'm glad I got most of
my Metaprobe UVed before IT got too complex. :)
Note to self; Start UVing models EARLY. ^_-

Finally got to this one... you have seen the results. Works in lightwave just fine.
