the colors in this are great- the yellow really pops! Nice drawing aswell, I love the shadow lines. How did you get that great texture in the blue? (if your not comfortable sharing the trade secret I will understand! haha)

Oh right, that's the interesting part. In my wood shop class thing, I cut a really thin piece of wood with a lot of notches in it, for it to be able to bend, I suppose. I wasn't using it for anything, it was just an experiment, but I had been using it to mix a really big jar of paint and because of the notches, it created some neat textures with the lines and...yeah. But actually, the texture in this is partly due to the actual cardboard, not the wood...lol, so that explanation is practically worthless. I wrote a lot. :D

juste a little technical question :D so i'ts not very important, of course! Do you always draw on your backgrounds, or do you add it with digital layers? ;)

Yesss, I always draw on my backgrounds. I have ruined a lot of pens when I draw right on top of paint (and I'm pretty impatient as well, so sometimes the paint isn't even dry...). But yeah :D

I figure that's the best way to be. Although, people that are masters at a certain thing might be better. I haven't decided which thing I want to be at expert at though.
