bridged by greyfin bridged by greyfin
sorry, i accidently deleted this, so ... re-loaded...

same area like "blessed and burnt" a mile down the valley, just after passing the monastery. a tiny bridge over to the hamlet of unterregenbach. guess it has medieval origins, it's just about 3 meters broad (the bridge, not the village, although it IS rather small).

Nikon D70s + Hoya R72 Infrared Filter

hi there, I’ve featured this beautiful shot in my 4th journal feature titled „Human-Nature“ which deals with the relationship between nature and civilisation, you can find the journal by just clicking on my icon or directly through the following link: [link]
I’d be happy if you could take a quick look and see if everything’s alright with you :) Thanks for your contribution

This looks hot, and familiar and otherworldly at the same time.

it's "warmth", but do't worry, i'm not a native speaker myself.
and you're right, the sun was blazing that day in july. thank you for your comment.

That's spectacular. So is the infrared filter what's making the leaves and grass that wonderful peach color?

yep. plants reflect more light at this wavelength, so they appear lighter. depending on angle, the camera's position to the sun and the way you choose white balance in post work, the colour ranges from light blue over violet/red to yellow.
