Taking the new face for a walk. Yes, it's supposed to be Jodie Whittaker. I know, it doesn't *really* look like her.
I'll probably never ever get her face right. But at least I can make it powerful.
A female Doctor wasn't on my wish list, but it made so many people happy and a lot of misogynists cry. And that alone makes her deserve the TARDIS key imho.

It's a very interesting face nonetheless, and the way you play with the colours is extraordinary.

I wasn't keen on getting a female Doctor either, but mainly because I was afraid we'd get a crazy goofball. That's already very hard to sell with a male actor, and you'd need a real force of nature to work with a woman. But Jodie Whittaker is a complete opposite choice of what I had expected, and I really, really like this. I think she's gonna turn a lot of heads in this role.

Thanks, I'm also surprised, but pleased about the final colours. Let's see if I can recreate something like that with just oil colours.

I DID remember Whittaker after you mentioned her. I feel pretty prostive about her fir the part, though still doubtful about Chibnall. But let's wait and see. It's always a group effort and the whole team has to click.

That's certainly right. Let's just say if it had to be a woman, we're certainly starting on the right foot. Anything else will be up for discussion after Christmas. I'm really looking forward to this special, not least because Bradley returns, but also because I hope we get a bit more from 13 than just her shocked look down at her chest. ^^

Please let's not have than. Gallifreyans aren't supposed to be as obsessed about gender as humans are. I'm curious about the Doctor's experiences with her new set of chromosones. But I'd be much happier if the first words out of her mouth weren't about her primary/secondary sex attributes, but rather something like "Whew, those feet are small." Or a simply "I SO didn't expect THAT. Blonde again, eh?"
