The blond man crossed his arms deliberately, ignoring the gun pressed towards his heart. His grisly smile twisting as he stared up at the gunman. He silently savored the other’s dangerous glare for a few moments before breaking the tense silence that held the world frozen around them.
“You won't shoot me, Mordred.” His confident voice was low and snake-like. “That’d be far too much like shooting your precious ‘Lackey,’ wouldn’t it?"
The assailant’s expression shifted into boredom as he considered the meaning behind the words. “You are obviously mistaken. While I may not shoot you, it’d be because I’m far too fond of that couch to deal with the stains. Not because of the resemblance that you don’t have with Lackey.”
“I wonder if you’re trying to convince yourself of that. We
are technically the same person after all.”
Mordred rolled his eyes with a derisive snort. “Where you got an insane notion like being the same as him I'll never know. You may have the same physical attributes, but you bear less resemblance to him than a dead rat being devoured by a cobra would.” His bland tone mocked his fellow repartee. “That is to say, of course, that even with the same name; you are not Wiglaf.”
Mirror!Wiglaf and Normal!Mordred
's Pair-A-Thon for her comic Wiglaf and Mordred
So, story goes that I wanted to see Mordred with a gun, so I made a nifty magic one that can't do friendly fire. That led to me thinking up a scene similar to this. I mentioned it to a friend, she commented that she wouldn't accept it unless it was Villain!Wiglaf and this was born. >.>
I used pencil, charcoal pencils, chalk pencils, and normal colored pencils. And, I confess, I used PS for the background. I'm really happy with how Mordred turned out, but not much with Mirror!Wiglaf, I suppose it'll do though.
