does anyone really care what's the story behind an artwork? illustration? a collage?
VISUAL COMMUNICATION, to communicate with people through a visual.

I've been told to give a title and description for my works.
what's the story behind?
what you're trying tell the audience?
what is the message you wanna spread out?
instead of just being a beautiful illustration but without any MEANING.
that it's. nothing more.
but who really cares?

but graphic design (poster, packaging, identity, web design...) yes
people want to know,
why this pattern?
why this color?
why it's on left?
why it's on the top?
why this font?
always asking why, to have a reason, to support your design
so people will remember.

tell me what you think.

My artwork?

1 min read
I traced the outline based on a photo that I found from the net then only I add on the details, stroke and colors by my own.
Agree or don't, it's just an expression of how I felt about art and beauty
thank you =)

Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent. And don't bother concealing your thievery. celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: "It's not where you take things from – it's where you take them to." ---- Jim Jarmusch
