Beautiful! They're one of the most common warblers where I live but they are so hyper I can't get a good shot with my camera.

How's the detail at larger res. using a 600 + 1.4?

Not too indistinguishable from the bare lens if you stop down a touch. Really hard to tell the bare lens and 1.4x apart at f8, and even 6.3, 7.1 are very sharp. Never liked it wide open at 5.6 though, not sure if that's typical or not.
