I never thought I'd ever make it to 1,000 watchers here on DA, but after 9 years, I'm finally here

Thank you all so much for being my wonderful watchers, it truly means the world to me

So much has happened since my time on here, I've met so many people, I've learned a lot and the experiences I've had on here changed my life. With the years that went by, unfortunately most of the people I met in my early days on here are gone. It really saddens me sometimes to see that. At one time I thought about leaving too, but luckily I made new friends

I want to thank my closest friends, they're the reason why I'm still here
Back when I reached 600 watchers, my life was completely different. I was unsure about myself and I felt lost. Those who I thought were my friends kept me from my true self, but the people here in this poster has helped me find who I truly am inside. There was a part of me that was lost to friends who didn't accept me for who I am and only tried to shape me into someone they wanted me to be. I wanted to be accepted by them, but it meant sacrificing who I am

I lived for years in darkness, but these people here have shown me the light. They've given me so much confidence, hope and they've shown me who true friends are. I couldn't be anymore grateful. I'm able to see clearly now and I'm not afraid to be myself. I know who I am now. Thank you all so much for helping me find my true self after I had been lost for so long. You are the greatest people ever
