The graphic particularly caught my attention, but a great composition.

If I had one suggestion, it would be to raise the wolf's eyeline, to increase their connection with the figure and thus the rest of the composition. +fav :-)

You did ask for critiques, so here is mine for what its worth..

I do enjoy your gallery of work as you know, with me having several of yours in my favs. Unfortunately, this one leaves me a bit flat. The lighting is very flat and there is little depth to the image and even less shadow.

The characters in the scene don't seem completely focused on each other, the wolf less so. The lady appears to be looking at the bear, the title subject. The wolf seems to be looking down at nothing and is not focused on the bird that appears to be what the bear is focused on nor is he focused on the bear which is what the lady seems to be focused on. The wolf's backside seems incomplete or there is something just not right with it or the tail (or both).

The last downside is an odd piece of ice that sort of looks like a shape of a seal sitting upright at the bottom (lower right and left of your sig) of the image. My eye keeps wondering down to it to try to figure out what the heck it is instead of staying focused on the subjects (lady/bear).

On the other hand the bear looks awesome and the illusion of the bear mixing with the ice and the sky is superb. I also love the sky. The clouds are well mixed and ominous which appears to be your intent. The choice in the model image as well as your colorizing of it is spot on!

I am not sure what the significance of the "Ice" text is to the image as it doesn't appear in the title but its broken nature and the font you used mix very well with the image and it seems quite at home there.

This isn't my favorite image in your gallery but it isn't bad either. Its better than I can do, that I will admit :)

This seems so very different from the rest of your work but it is every bit as well done and it is so very beautiful, an instant fave.

I really like how the texture of the clouds balance the texture of the ice. I also like how the bear melts into the stars to make one of the constellations. I'm a little torn about the bird, in my mind I wonder why there is a bird there in the center of the picture, my eye keeps getting drawn to it when I make the picture large and when I minimize it, knowing that it's there makes me want to look for it. But besides that Minor distraction on my part, I think is a really great piece.

Gefällt mir sehr gut :) Besonders die wellenartigen Schnörkel um den Bären herum.

Es könnte wirklich ein CD-Cover sein!

it's awesome.. although you might wanna adjust the wolf's fur a little.. it seems to neat and 'cut-out' if you understand.. besides that, it's beautiful

The imagery in this is really wonderful, and I particularly love the way the polar bear emerges out of the freezing ice. Excellent artwork.

I absolutely love this! The idea, the composition, the colour scheme and the blending, just brilliant. I also feel that the text although brilliantly done and fitting the subject, detracts from this amazing artwork. :winner::clap::clap:

Lovely. The text spoils it though. It'd feel much more atmospheric without.
